PrepForge HQ Terms of Use

Effective Date: June 14, 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of PrepForge, including the website located at prepforgehq.com and any related services, features, content, and applications collectively referred to as the "Service."

By accessing or using PrepForge, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

1. About PrepForge

PrepForge is an educational study platform that allows users to create courses, organize chapters, build and complete practice questions and examinations, track study history, and use other educational tools.

PrepForge is intended to support studying and learning. It is not an accredited educational institution and does not award academic credit, professional certification, or licensure.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use PrepForge.

If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

PrepForge is not directed to children under 13, and users under 13 may not create an account or submit personal information.

3. Accounts

Certain PrepForge features require an account.

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate account information.
  • Keep your account credentials secure.
  • Use only an account that belongs to you.
  • Promptly notify PrepForge if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
  • Accept responsibility for activities performed through your account.

You may authenticate using a supported third-party authentication provider, such as Google. Your use of that provider is also subject to its applicable terms and policies.

PrepForge may suspend or restrict an account when reasonably necessary to protect users, maintain security, enforce these Terms, or comply with law.

4. Guest Practice Exams

PrepForge may allow users to access certain practice exams without creating or signing into an account.

Guest users should understand that:

  • Progress may not be permanently saved.
  • An interrupted exam may not be recoverable.
  • Results may not appear in study history.
  • Guest activity may be recorded in an aggregated or de-identified form for security, reliability, and usage measurement.
  • Signing in may be required to save results, resume attempts, or use personalized study features.

The availability of a guest examination does not guarantee that it will remain available indefinitely.

5. Educational Use and Accuracy

PrepForge content is provided for educational and study purposes only.

PrepForge does not guarantee that:

  • Every question or explanation is error-free.
  • Content exactly matches a particular instructor's examination.
  • Use of the Service will result in a particular grade, test score, certification, admission decision, or professional outcome.
  • User-created or AI-assisted content has been independently reviewed.

Users remain responsible for verifying important information against their textbooks, course materials, instructors, institutional policies, and other authoritative sources.

6. Medical and Nursing Content

PrepForge may contain nursing, microbiology, health science, or medically related educational material.

This material is not medical advice and must not be used to:

  • Diagnose or treat a medical condition.
  • Make patient-care decisions.
  • Replace professional medical judgment.
  • Replace official clinical procedures or institutional policies.
  • Respond to a medical emergency.

Users must rely on qualified instructors, licensed professionals, current clinical references, and applicable institutional standards when making healthcare-related decisions.

7. Artificial Intelligence Features

PrepForge may offer features that use artificial intelligence to create, import, summarize, classify, or explain educational content.

AI-generated content may be incomplete, inaccurate, misleading, outdated, or inappropriate for a particular course.

You are responsible for reviewing AI-assisted content before relying on, publishing, sharing, or studying from it.

Do not submit confidential patient information, protected health information, personally identifying student records, examination materials you are prohibited from sharing, or other sensitive information to an AI-assisted feature.

PrepForge may limit or discontinue AI features at any time.

8. User Content

"User Content" includes courses, questions, answers, explanations, notes, chapter information, uploaded materials, and other content submitted by a user.

You retain ownership of your original User Content.

By submitting User Content, you grant PrepForge a limited, nonexclusive license to host, store, process, reproduce, and display that content solely as reasonably necessary to:

  • Provide the Service.
  • Save and synchronize your content.
  • Generate quizzes and study activities.
  • Maintain backups.
  • Protect the security and integrity of the Service.
  • Perform actions you request.

PrepForge does not acquire ownership of your User Content merely because it is stored through the Service.

You represent that you have the right to submit your User Content and that doing so does not violate another person's rights or applicable law.

9. Starter Courses and PrepForge Content

PrepForge may provide starter courses, template courses, official question sets, explanations, designs, software, branding, and other materials.

Unless otherwise stated, PrepForge retains all intellectual-property rights in this content.

You may use PrepForge-provided educational content for personal, noncommercial study purposes.

You may not, without authorization:

  • Republish or sell PrepForge content.
  • Scrape or systematically download substantial portions of the Service.
  • Repackage PrepForge question banks as your own commercial product.
  • Remove copyright, attribution, or proprietary notices.
  • Use PrepForge branding in a manner that suggests an unauthorized affiliation.

10. Copyright and Third-Party Materials

You may not upload or distribute materials that infringe copyright, trademark, privacy, contractual, or other rights.

This includes instructor examinations, publisher test banks, answer keys, proprietary course materials, or textbook content when you do not have permission to use them.

PrepForge may remove or restrict access to material that is reasonably believed to violate another party's rights.

Copyright concerns may be submitted to:

Email: hollar@prepforgehq.com

A report should identify the protected work, the allegedly infringing material, its location within PrepForge, and sufficient information to contact the reporting party.

11. Acceptable Use

You may not use PrepForge to:

  • Break applicable laws or regulations.
  • Access another user's account without authorization.
  • Interfere with the Service or attempt to bypass its security.
  • Probe, scan, or test vulnerabilities without written authorization.
  • Introduce malware, destructive code, or automated abuse.
  • Scrape, harvest, or collect information about other users.
  • Send spam or unauthorized advertising.
  • Submit unlawful, threatening, harassing, or fraudulent material.
  • Impersonate another person or organization.
  • Facilitate academic dishonesty.
  • Obtain or distribute active examination materials without authorization.
  • Reverse engineer the Service except where applicable law expressly permits it.
  • Use automated systems in a manner that creates unreasonable load or expense.

PrepForge may impose reasonable technical limits to prevent abuse.

12. Privacy and Data Use

Use of PrepForge is also governed by the PrepForge Privacy Policy.

PrepForge does not sell, rent, or trade personal information.

PrepForge does not disclose personal information to third parties for their own advertising, marketing, profiling, data-brokerage, or independent commercial purposes.

Limited information may be processed by contracted service providers strictly as needed to host, secure, authenticate, maintain, and operate the Service. Information may also be disclosed when directed by the user or when legally required.

13. Paid Features

The main PrepForge service may include free functionality. Optional premium or AI-assisted features may be introduced later.

Before charging a user, PrepForge will disclose the applicable price and material payment terms.

Unless otherwise stated:

  • Fees are quoted in U.S. dollars.
  • Users are responsible for applicable taxes.
  • Payment processing may be performed by a third-party payment provider.
  • The payment provider may collect and process payment information under its own policies.
  • PrepForge does not need to store complete payment-card numbers.

Any subscription renewal, cancellation, or refund terms will be presented before a paid subscription is purchased.

14. Changes to the Service

PrepForge may add, modify, suspend, or remove features.

Reasonable efforts may be made to avoid unnecessary disruption, but uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed.

Features may change because of maintenance, security requirements, legal requirements, vendor changes, technical limitations, or product development.

15. Termination

You may stop using PrepForge at any time.

Where account deletion is available, you may request deletion through the account settings or by contacting PrepForge.

PrepForge may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary because of:

  • A violation of these Terms.
  • Fraud or suspected misuse.
  • Security risks.
  • Legal obligations.
  • Conduct that harms PrepForge, its users, or its service providers.

Where appropriate, PrepForge may provide notice and an opportunity to correct the issue.

Sections that by their nature should continue after termination will survive, including intellectual-property provisions, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute provisions.

16. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PrepForge is provided "as is" and "as available."

PrepForge disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, noninfringement, accuracy, availability, and uninterrupted operation.

PrepForge does not guarantee that the Service will be free from errors, outages, security incidents, harmful components, or loss of data.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some exclusions may not apply to you.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PrepForge and its owner, operators, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from use of or inability to use the Service.

This includes loss of data, educational opportunities, grades, revenue, profits, reputation, or business opportunities.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PrepForge's total liability for claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of:

  • The amount you paid directly to PrepForge during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim; or
  • One hundred U.S. dollars.

These limitations do not apply where prohibited by law.

18. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless PrepForge and its owner and operators from claims, liabilities, damages, and reasonable expenses arising from:

  • Your unlawful use of the Service.
  • Your material violation of these Terms.
  • Your User Content.
  • Your infringement of another party's rights.

This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim was caused by PrepForge's own unlawful conduct.

19. Governing Law

These Terms will be governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, except where another jurisdiction's consumer-protection laws must apply.

Any legal proceeding relating to these Terms or the Service must be brought in a court with proper jurisdiction located in New Jersey, unless applicable law provides otherwise.

20. Changes to These Terms

PrepForge may revise these Terms as the Service changes.

The updated Terms will display a revised effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through the Service or by email when appropriate.

Changes will apply prospectively. Continued use after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

21. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. The unenforceable provision will be interpreted as closely as legally permitted to its intended purpose.

22. Entire Agreement

These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the agreement between you and PrepForge concerning the Service, except where separate written terms expressly apply.
